Meet Melissa

Empowered by experience. Driven by heart. A Passion to cultivate joy.

Hi, I’m Melissa Murray—founder of The EmenCe’ Collective and a lifelong advocate for people navigating complex systems. At my core, I’ve always found purpose in helping others and joy in making a meaningful difference in people’s lives.

My professional journey began with humble roots—working as an administrative assistant, title and escrow support, and even a corporate courier. In 2002, I took my first step into the insurance industry as a receptionist, and quickly earned my Washington Producer’s License, becoming an agent, and ultimately the agency Managing Broker.

In 2007, I moved into claims handling, where I found my true calling. Over the next two decades, I built a reputation across Washington for my deep expertise in auto damage, claims negotiations, and repair quality standards. I’ve held roles ranging from Field Estimator to Territory Manager, Scene Investigator, and Liability Analyst. I was also a volunteer on CAT (Catastrophic Loss Teams) and have been deployed to several extreme weather events including the Joplin Tornado in 2011. On the repair side, I served as a Customer Account Manager at a high-volume shop, earning my ICAR Gold Repair Center Certification. I later returned to insurance claims, earning ICAR Platinum Individual status and working across SIU, Subrogation, and Commercial Lines Claims management. Most recently, I served in senior leadership roles overseeing total loss and salvage departments.

In 2024, I made the bold decision to step back from the corporate ladder to focus on family and to build something meaningful on my own terms. The EmenCe’ Collective was born from that leap—an umbrella for the services I offer and the people I serve. Whether you’re navigating an auto claim, need notary services, or a little extra support through life’s busy moments, my goal is simple: to show up with integrity, compassion, and an unwavering commitment to advocate for your best outcome.

This business isn’t just about service. It’s about showing people that they matter and that there is someone that cares —when systems make them feel small — or when you just need a little help getting through the day.
